Applying for PIP:

PIP Mental Health Guide The information here about applying for PIP is excellent. I am more than happy to write a supporting letter and/or provide additional evidence for your claim. If you are eligible, you can use PIP to cover the cost of weekly therapy plus transport costs.

Dissociation and trauma:

Carolyn Spring (used to be PODS-online): making recovery from dissociative disorders a reality through training, informing & supporting. Great information for partners and carers too. Some training is accessible to those experiencing dissociation. 

ISST-D public fact sheets and support sheets: Information for helping others, managing your social media use, understanding dissociation and trauma, 

Help and support in crisis:

www.samaritans.org/ Phone, webchat, text or visit in person. 

Dial House/Leeds Survivor-Led Crisis Service. Connect Helpline open 6pm-2am 0808 800 1212. Support and sanctuary in times of crisis.  An alternative to hospital admission and statutory provision for people in acute mental health crisis.

'A Different Kind of Super Hero', by Tracy Werner. £20, available from her website only. For explaining to children about Dissociative Identity Disorder, but a great read for everyone.
